Operated on a fleet of Bishop’s Stortford College minibuses, our transport service connects towns and villages across Hertfordshire and Essex with the College, offering pupils a safe and reliable route to/from school, at the start and end of each day. All minibuses arrive by 8.15am and depart around 5.15pm, with timings adjusted at the end of term to reflect any changes to the school day.
All minibuses are maintained to the highest standards, with dedicated drivers on each route; all of which are subject to enhanced DBS checks and full MiDAS or CPC training.
A new service from Braintree will be operating from September 2025, with stops in Braintree (Freeport railway station), Great Notley, Raine, Bannister Green, Felsted, Dunmow and Takeley. Seats on this service will be available to book soon.
We currently operate services across five routes, many of which include a pick up from national rail or London Underground stations for pupils connecting from London or across the UK.
Fares start from £5.95 each way* and must be booked online, in advance. Seats can be booked for daily travel, or ad hoc; perfect for weekly boarders requiring transport at the beginning and end of each week.
Bishop’s Stortford station pick up and drop off, £2.50 each way, fixed fare.
*based on a weekly Zone 1 return booking
