U13s Crowned In2Hockey County Champions

Following a successful series of matches at the In2Hockey U13 county tournament, our U13A boys’ hockey team secured the title of County Champions, progressing to the regionals.

After a slow start, where the team struggled to find the goalscoring touch, our team produced some wonderful hockey to be crowned Hertfordshire hockey champions. With two 0-0 games to start the competition against Aldwickbury and St Albans Schools, the team then beat Haileybury (1-0), Watford Grammar School (1-0) and Hockerill Anglo-European College (4-0).

The final two matches were against Hitchin and Merchant Taylor’s Schools, who were also both undefeated. The team produced arguably their best two performances of the term beating Hitchin School (2-0) and Merchant Taylor’s School (4-0).

The team now goes forward to represent Hertfordshire at the East Regional Finals in Ipswich at the end of March.
